  • Date: December 11, 2025
  • Time: Available All Day
  • Duration: 90 Minutes

Description

RECORDED TRAINING COURSE

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS)  has once again made changes to the I-9 Form launched in 2025! There have been several updates to the I-9 Form, with limited changes during the current immigration changes. These changes have confused Employers and professionals and have stepped up the Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) efforts to audit companies via the I-9 Form audit process. The I-9 Form audit process is what some call the silent raid and has been hailed as a segway to ICE audits and immigration raids.

Given the immigration promises of the current administration, immigration raids have been scheduled; however, the number of raids has not provided the numbers necessary to meet the deportations promised. This has angered the administration and has increased their efforts by scheduling more raids and providing the shock and awe for immigrants and non-immigrants.

Employers and their representatives need to be aware of all I-9 form changes, but they also must conduct internal audits to mitigate the increase in ICE audits.

This training will go over any changes and compliance initiatives to make the I-9 form  compliance less confusing. As a former external auditor hired by DHS, to review over 7,000 I-9 forms and make corrections, it is critical to review your I-9 forms now as the new I-9 forms have been launched.

Session Highlights:

  • Immigration raids have increased under the current administration
  • Learn why the I-9 Form audits by ICE are a silent raid and a segway to immigration raids
  • Learn how the current immigration raids have not provided the deportations expected
  • Learn how the policy of protecting sensitive locations from ICE raids is at risk
  • Another I-9 Form has been launched for 2025
  • Learn how to effectively complete the new 2025 I-9 Form to ensure I-9 form compliance
  • Although the I-9 document appears like a simple document, more than 72% of Employers have I-9 Documents with errors.
  • I-9 documents can be audited by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and many DHS investigators know this is a weakness for most Employers
  • Learn the right way to correct I-9 documents as indicated by DHS
  • What is the minimal risk Employers have when establishing an I-9 document Correction & Storage Process?
  • Learn if outsourcing your internal I-9 Audit can save you time and protect the company from ICE audits
  • Learn what you can do if you have remote employees when it comes to I-9 forms using the DHS extended I-9 Form remote option from E-Verify.
  • Learn how the E-Verify program provides the remote option for managing the I-9 Form.

Why You Should Attend:

How Do Employers Get Audited? Targeted Industries! ICE has historically established a list of targeted industries where it is more likely to hire immigrants. These industries include agriculture, construction, landscaping, food processing and retail, which are predominantly unskilled labor. It isn’t hard to imagine news getting out to target Employers; however, research has proven that most other complaints come from disgruntled employees.

This I-9 form preparation, correction, and audit webinar will be a step-by-step process and discussion of all the new guidelines for completing the new I-9 form, as well as the ongoing regulations for appropriate methods of correcting this document without incurring fines and penalties.

Attend this webinar to understand how to fill I-9 form, how to correct it, and audit it. Learn what the best practices are to follow to save your company from unnecessary violations.
